Towards Large-scale Deepfake Detection by Gregory Tarr
Join us on Thursday 11th February at 12.30pm for our next Tech Talk webinar which is entitled “Towards Large-scale Deepfake Detection” and will be presented by local Cork student Gregory Tarr. In recent weeks Greg Tarr from Bandon Grammar School was awarded the BT Young Scientist & Technologist of the year for his project was entitled 'Using artificial intelligence to detect state-of-the-art deepfakes. A comprehensive analysis of detection methodologies and improvements in the field'.

During this webinar Greg will give a brief history of the field of AI, followed by a conceptual analysis of deepfake creation methods, and methods of detecting them. The webinar will touch upon some issues that arise when deploying machine learning at scale, as well as methods of solving them.

This is a webinar is not to be missed and is open to all it@cork members, students and the general public.
